6mo constant grizzle noise

At breaking point.

My six month old is an extremely unsettled baby, (reflux) and she makes a continuous ‘grizzle’ noise every second of the day. I have no way of putting her down to nip and make a bottle or run to the loo etc. She is just never content and I don’t know what to do. We have two different styles of bouncers, a baby gym, change mat it literally doesn’t matter what I try and whether I’m in the room or not. She is only happy if I pick her up (stood up I might add).

I don’t know what the point of this post is other than to see if anyone has any ideas? She NEVER stops this isn’t an exaggeration. She takes ages to go to sleep for a nap even though she’s clearly tired, she is sleeping well at night but the days feel impossibly long and I have a 3year old son as well.

I’m willing to do/buy/try anything.

Following this post as I'm in exactly the same situation. Except her night sleep is crap. You have my sympathies x

@Fedfedfedup even the doctor basically said we just have to ‘ride the storm’ so I’m looking for anecdotal advice really (often more reliable too let’s be honest)

She’s generally better in the pram/car seat but lockdown has limited how much she goes in either of those. I’ve considered a little baby swing but I feel like six months is too big to be starting with that, so expensive for something for a few months that might not even work.
But I’m desperate so willing to try anything. Do you have an older one too? I feel so sorry for him! I can’t even make his lunch properly or do colouring in with him. And he’s so good! Thoroughly fed up

Luckily this is my first and only for now haha. I tried a sling, a swing, bouncer...I refuse to spend anymore money on these things lol. Tried cranial osteopathy...little improvement. Probiotics helped with tummy issues but something is still annoying her. It's almost like something is a nuisance to her, not pain. Maybe discomfort. I'm at a loss!@@mamablondie33

Might try going up a nappy size LOL. I know how silly this sounds but I'm desperate
