8 month doesn’t roll

My son is 8 months old.
He doesn’t roll over. He’s ok on his tummy, lifts his chest & can support himself like this. He sits unsupported & has reached all other milestones for his age. Everything seemed to suggest most babies do this from 4 months. I’m starting to become quite worried.

My DD didn’t roll until she was 8.5 months. She doesn’t do it often still (she’s almost 10 months) but some babies don’t roll at all.

He has no interest in it at all. I will lie with him & try to roll him & show him but nothing. He’s not a massive fan of being on his tummy. He much prefers sitting up. He has been able to sit unsupported since 5/6 months & can stand holding on to things. He’s very steady, so I feel like he’s developing in other ways.

I’ve done the same but my DD isn’t interested either! She much prefers to be standing or sitting. He’s sitting and can stand holding onto things so I wouldn’t worry about rolling. Rolling and crawling aren’t classed as milestones (I believe anyway) as not all babies do them.
