6 month behavior - normal or result of lockdown? Will it effect long term development?

Hi,

I have a 6 month old daughter who won't be held by anyone else without crying. We've been very strict with lockdown rules and hardly met anyone since she was born (only family a few times) and she's very rarely been held by anyone except myself and her dad.

I was wondering if this is normal behavior for a baby or do you think it's because she's not used to seeing other people? Will this effect her long term development? Is there anything I can do to help?

Thank you!

All seems very normal to me, just saying that she prefers you and her DF and yes with reassurance she'll come out of it and no, I can't imagine it will cause and long term damage, unless you start forcing her to go to others when she's in distress.
