Two year old and spinning wheels

Just inspired (and frightened!) by another topic, I am now wondering if my son might have autism traits....
He's two, makes eye contact, copies my facial expressions, he can sing and dance, he likes playing with other children and share, he does pretend play and he's language is ok-ish (he's bilingual but can say about 60-70 words and learning more every day. He constantly 'talks' even if we don't properly understand what he says).

On the other hand:

  • he likes lining cars up (but he doesn't do it like every day, it's more of a random activity)
  • he throws things all the time
  • he likes watching wheels spinning, mostly on his balance bike
  • when we went to a beach last year he hated the sand and refused to walk on it barefeet (sensory issue?). He's fine playing with it with his hands.
  • he recognizes numbers up to 10 and starting recognizing letters (I guess I should feel proud, instead I feel concerned!)

1 to 10, how worried would you be?

I think just the fact that you're concerned is enough to take the mchat. At least that way you'll know what his risk is.

Thank you! The link brings me to another page but I googled it and I took the test and scored zero, which is low risk. Perhaps I am reading too much into all the signs.
