My DD is 13 months and is completely terrified of strangers and people she doesn’t know well. If anyone comes up to her, even neighbours she starts screaming and crying and reaching out of the pram to be picked up. If we go to the shops and someone smiles at her again she cries and wants to be picked up. I dread anyone trying to say hello or give her attention in case she starts getting upset.
I’m wondering is this normal behaviour, is this behaviour being made worse due to most of her life being spent in lockdown or is this something to be concerned about?
