I want to cry before I've even started!

My now 5 year old was an absolute nightmare to potty train. It took him over a year and he was still having accidents when he started reception. In fact, he still has the odd accident now! So anyway, we've started to think about training our youngest who will be 3 in April. I'm not pushing it this time, I leave the potty out, ask him if he'd like to wear pants etc. I'm just generally waiting until he shows signs of being ready. I bought a Potty training book which arrived yesterday, its lovely with bits to pull, and flaps to lift etc.
This morning I was running around the house getting bits together to go to the playground and I walk back into the lounge to find my 2 year old ripping the book apart, not even just the flaps, ripping out all the pages and tearing them into tiny pieces. I hadn't even had a chance to read it to him.
I know its small in the grand scheme of things but I just want to cry. I'm really missing having other Mum friends to meet up and moan about all this stuff with!

I can imagine that must have been frustrating and I can't imagine how hard it must be having little ones in Lockdown.
