Baby Startling after vaccine

Hi guys, new on this but joined because I’m super worried and was wondering if anyone else has shared the same experience as me. I got my son vaccinated yesterday, he’s 5months- this was his second round of vaccines. This morning he’s woken up with a temperature (I’ve given calpol) and kept jumping, baring in mind the environment is completely calm, he wasn’t being stimulated he was just staring at me wide awake and kept being startled, he did this around 7 times and then fell back to sleep half an hour later. I could see he was uncomfortable because of the sudden jolting so I soothed him, even though he’s so poorly today he’s barely crying or moving like he usually would (high needs baby) it’s like it’s too much effort for him to move or babble like he usually would Sad. Has anyone had a similar experience with their little one? Will the startling go away? My eldest is 7 and I recall him having a temp after his jabs but the jolting/startling is something new to me and on other forums and sites I’ve been reading that they’ve turned into seizures for some! Please help and advise me the best you can. TIA x

I'd ring 111 or the GP as it may be a convulsion.

Just checking in to see how the little one is now? My baby had her first vaccinations this morning (late - she's 13 weeks) and we are struggling with a temperature this evening.

Has you baby's temperature come down with calpol only?
