Problems when in pushchair

Hi
I wondered if anyone could offer me any advice please. My little boy is just over 5 months old. Whenever i take him out in his pushchair he starts out fine, then normally falls asleep for a while. The problem is ten mins or so after he wakes up he starts to grunt/groan/strain/whine/spit dummy in and out as though he is fed up or upset. It's becoming every day and it's stressing me out that i rush to get back home. He is fine temperature wise and already been fed. I've tried putting toys in. As soon as we're home and he gets out he's fine. Our walk is normally 1.5hrs. Has anyone else experienced this? Thank you

First off that’s a long walk. Secondly which way is he facing, you or the world? And is it a pushchair that reclines but also sits up?

I found mine preferred to be in a sling at that age. I know that’s not for everyone but just a suggestion.

Thank you for your replies. He faces me and it does recline. He sits half way up in it. He's a bit to small to sit him right up in it.
