Baby doesn’t make eye contact and aches his back when held.

My baby is 5 months old and he doesn’t make eye contact when I’m holding him . He completely tries to avoid it by arching his back away from me when held. Otherwise he makes good eye contact when he is lying down and responds to his name etc. I’m worried as to why he hates making eye contact with the person holding him . Has anyone else experienced anything similar with their children ?

I know this is an old post but I was wondering if you had an update. My son doesn’t make a lot of eye contact and it’s really concerning me. Thanks!
