8 month old dropped bedtime feed?

So my baby is 8 months old and he dropped his bedtime feed at around 6 and a half/almost 7 months, it was his second bottle he dropped.
When it would come to giving him his last bottle i’d prep it. go out and he would be soundo! this would usually be about 8pm.
I heard this was one of the hardest bottles to drop so obviously I was very pleased! 🤣

Now recently he’s been quite grumpy around bedtime and I’m having to rock him until he’s drowsy but the second I lay him down he starts crying.

Could this be just a phase? Or should I reintroduct that evening bottle???
He does fall asleep after about 20 minutes which i’m sure he wouldn’t do if he’s hungry? This is his routine:

7:00am; bottle
8:30am: breakfast
11:30am: bottle
1:30pm: lunch
3:45pm: bottle
5:30: dinner
7:00 bath and cuddles etc
8:00 sleeps

between this he has water where he takes it(which isn’t often !!) plus his bottles are 7scoops &9oz of water in his milk ( as advised by doctor due to constipation )

i’d also like to add he has 2 top teeth coming through the gums as well as 3 teeth already through, so i’m wondering if this has a part to play.

You dont put an extra 2oz of water in every bottle do you? Thats at least 6oz water per day. The formula should not be diluted as they are then getting less nutrition than they should.

Try offering a bottle if he's not settling.

My DD (9 months) started refusing her bedtime bottle (she was having 4 a day at 7, 11, 3 and 7) so I dropped the 11 bottle and moved the 3 bottle to 1:30/2 and she’s now accepting her bedtime bottle again. So she has milk at 7, 1:30/2 and 7 and then solids at 8, 11:45 and 5.

as stated above, yes this is to each bottle as advised by my doctor due to his constipation. He drinks the whole bottle so he is still getting his nutrients. he won’t take water alone in a bottle therefore as told by the GP to add an additional 2oz of water to the bottle.
