Worried about my 3 year old DD

Hiya i have a 3 year old DD who was supposed to start nursery in January. Her nursery closed due to covid and I fell pregnant. Her nursery reopened to key worker children only and are now open to all children. However, due to pregnancy anxiety with covid i chose not to send her until after I have the baby which is in late May. The nursery ar fine with this. The anxiety is quite bad as if i fall sick theres no one to take care of my daughter and also id worry about my baby too. My husbsnd works long hours.
Im howver worried as she has no interaction with kids her age. Shes with me all day and seems fine. She talks, we do activities and seems to be making progress. I do question how it all impacts her though in terms of social develptment and keep questioning if iv made a good choice. The nursery said she will have a whole year left to hav the nursery experience as she turns 4 in oct and it made me feel a bit better. Any advice would be great? And also would u send ur child if u were in my situation or wait for the baby to arrive. Am i overthinking?

I promise you that it's fine. My girls are 16 and 12 now...I hardly took them anywhere due to similar reasons (anxiety) and my eldest didn't attend nursery until later.

Both had limited playdates until they got older and I was better...they're the most socially skilled kids now...absolutely fine.

Loads of friends and happy kids.

What matters most at 3 years old is feeling safe and being with your family...of course nursery is nice but if you play and talk with her etc she'll be just fine!

I'm in Australia now (we moved) and loads of kids here don't go anywhere until 5 years old...and Aussie kids are the loudest and most sociable I've ever known.x
