ds2, nearly 14mo, finds it highly amusing when i tell him to stop doing something or tell him firmly 'no'. He actually laughed out loud at me yesterday! I alter my tone to a firm and definite non-playful tone nad he defo understands the sentiment but he does find it funny! anyone else's do this???

DD (17 months) thinks we are hilarious if we say no!

Yes. DD did from about 13m and still (at 18m) doesn't really care at all when she hears 'no' -- how she reacts depends on her mood these days.

I remember having the same issue with turning on and off the tv.

The laughing's not so cute when they are four!

it is the open defiance that gets me . i don't recall dd being like this!
