Lockdown and safety at home

How hard are you trying to keep your little ones safe in the lockdown?

My DD is going to be 3 next March and it’s a nightmare to keep her in one place without running around and jumping over the bed and sofa. She has ended up having bumps on her head a few times. Juggling with work etc, still, I am Ok with all that unless she injures herself.

Am I alone? How do you cope up with kids like mine?

I have an almost 3YO. We're getting a trampoline in Spring. Get her out on a looooooong walk and a zip around the park to wear her out. We have a pikler triangle as well which is fab for rainy days but not cheap. You just have to do your best. They'll get bumps and scrapes at this age regardless it's part of them learning risk assessment xx

Thanks, Jannt86. The pikler triangle is an interesting suggestion. We have a trampoline, which is really useful to keep her active. Walks are great too. I am not too worried about bumps and minor Injuries, as those are part of her development. What I am terrified about are those injuries, which may even lead to lifelong consequences such as burns and door crush finger injuries.
