My child is almost 3 in a months time and I just wondered did anyone notice any sudden changes after their child turning 3

I think in a month you won't notice anything. Gradually over next 6 months maybe. For us with our youngest it wasn't until gone 4 that we noticed considerable change and movement away from the toddler years if that is what you mean?

I'm not sure what you mean. Mine is the same age as your's. I sometimes look at kids a year or so older than her and wonder how she'll get there lol even though she's super bright and I have no concerns about her development. Was there something specifically you're concerned about? Or just a general question?

It is a general question Altho he is behind on speech and says words but no sentences. I have heard stories of once they've turned 3 the speech just appears one day

But in general just wondering what to expect from a 3yo lol

I think they're all different. My friend's LO could talk your ear off and very clear speech by age 3. Mine understands literally everything and talks in long sentences and says some really clever and hilarious things sometimes but isn't massively 'chatty' yet especially with people she doesn't know and speech isn't massively clear. She can do 50 piece jigsaws though and knows all her letters and can count quite well. I am confident the rest will come. I think they're learning so much at this age and piecing things together and they all do it a bit differently but most are at about the same level by school age
