Hard of hearing parenting

I am a slightly hard of hearing parent and my son (3) has started being really horrible about it. He deliberately talks in silly voices so I can’t understand him and talks into his arms so I can’t lip read. I’m getting tired of repeating that I’m deaf and that I can’t hear him, but now I’m pretty sure he’s doing it on purpose to upset me. Any tips on teaching kids about not being unkind and how to interact with people with disabilities?

I'm not sure what the best way to deal with this is. If you can, I'd be tempted to ignore him as much as you can when he does this, although I appreciate that with a 3 yo that's not always possible.

There's some books on kindness here. Don't know if any of these appeal?
