12 month old biting

Hi all! Hope we've all had a nice Sunday. First post here so bare with me...

My daughter who is 12 months old (just turned last week) has started to bite me - and only me. I've not really noticed a pattern, she has 10 teeth already & has never done this with past teething episodes. Whenever she does do it though we seem to be playing on the floor, she crawls away then comes back to me & when getting herself back up she buries her face into me (leg, shoulder, boob Hmm) and bites me. (I should probably mention here she is bottle fed) I've caught her a few times biting her sleeve and think it could possibly be she's trying to get my clothes in her mouth & pull them and doesn't realise she's got skin there too.

Just wanted to see how normal this is at this stage? If any other mums or dads have experienced this before, it's quite concerning and I just want to make sure it's a normal developmental stage that we can ride out and forget about.

ALSO wanted to question how I'm best dealing with the biting. So far it's been putting her down on the floor, getting to eye level and giving her a firm 'No', is this right?

Really hope someone can give some reassurance and that I'm not alone!

Thank you x

I think it's pretty normal, our DD did it for a short while too.

I found these tips from Dr Sears helped Smile
