Reflux & CMPA

Hi there,

I have a 5 week old LG and when I feed her (mainly at night) she is very agitated and writhes around a lot like she is uncomfortable. She's also very wheezy of a night time too. She is bottle fed and I use HIPP organic formula.

She's often sick after feeding also this can be an hour or 2 after. I'm unsure if this maybe reflux and or CMPA and wondered if anyone had experienced the same?

I'm wary to just start changing things up or giving her things in case it makes her worse but she definitely seems uncomfortable sold of the time.

Thanks in advance Smile

It can be very difficult to know what's causing it at this age as reflux, CMPA and tongue tie all have similar symptoms but the wheezing would make me think allergy.

Have you read this from Allergy UK and do the symptoms sound familiar?

My first was like this. Had CMPA. The wheezing would make me think CMPA.
My second also had this. He has CMPA, reflux, and had a tongue tie! The sick is quite common as is the writhing. Babies are uncomfy a lot despite what you think is normal. They are also sick a lot! The wheezing however is not - always pointed to cmpa for my babies.
