Hi everyone my baby girl is 11 months old. she is clean, nappy done, fed, she has a sippy cup to drink when she wants, tons of toys around her with nursery rhymes playing, I play and sing to her.
She will just look at me and have a whinge but not actually cry? Sometimes stopping her play to do it. She seems annoyed but I have no idea what is wrong.
If I stand up she cries, if i leave the room she cries, sometimes she just wants to be picked up and then cries when I put her down, she constantly keeps to my top for breastmilk which I'm fine with. But what is with this clingyness? Lots if whinging? Even when I play with her she does it. I'm started to get really annoyed and have had to take a breather whilst I've left her in the playpen..

Is it a new thing OP or has she always been like this?

Seperation anxiety! 11 months is a horrible age from what I remember. Ds and all his little friends of a similar age all went through it around then. Screaming anytime you leave them, just being generally whiney, nap time went to pot for a while. I think it's just a phase they go through at a time when they've got a lot going on like learning to walk and talk. What seemed to help ds was learning to wave and say bye bye whenever we left the room. He soon got that we would come back and snapped right out of it. I'm happy to say he's been an utter delight since and he's 15 months tomorrow. Hang in there!
