Teething :(

My little girl is 5.5 months and has been inconsolable the last few nights, literally waking every hour crying. She is in pain feeding, rubbing her cheek when on the boob, chewing seems to be her only relief, keeps getting a red cheek, crazy amount of dribble. I can see white at the front of her bottom gums but I wondered from your experiences how long this phase goes on for?
Her gums aren't red yet so I wonder if its a way off 😪. We are using calpol and nurofen at different times, ambesol and tried weleda granules (cannot use other granules due to cmpa).
Does the pain come up and down for them?

Following cause I'm in exact same position! My DD 5.5 months too and has gone from having 6oz each feed and now only having 3 at most feeds. She is hitting the bottle and pulls away crying.
I can't see any teeth though yet and she's been showing symptoms (but not as bad) for months now!
Just wish they'd hurry up

@L198989 it can last a few days...sometimes weeks - with a few days that's ok in between. The good news that it doesn't last forever.
Plenty of cuddles and yes some nurofen will help!
Sophie giraffe cooled in the freezer helped my DD at that age. She's now 2 and recently cut her 2 year molars - which felt an age!
Honestly it gets easier everytimes there's a teething symptom...and then it's gone just like that! Although it can feel like forever at the time.

Hang in there! You're doing great. It will pass.
