DD keeps ‘growling’

I’ve got a DD 8 months old she’s my first. Lately shes started to growl a lot! I noticed She used to do it a couple of days a month from about 4 months. But lately it’s a lot more. Really deep from the back of the throat growling. She’s not crying or distressed with it and she does make other ‘normal’ baby noises this isn’t the only noise. I think it’s teething because when she has melty sticks or finger food she’s ok. She still hasn’t got teeth through. Did anyone else experience this?

It just sounds like she's realised she can do it and is playing with her voice if I'm honest.

If she's teething have you tried making a lolly from her usual milk, giving her cucumber sticks or just a cool, clean, wet flannel to chew on? A frozen banana might help too

Yeah we use her wet cold Muslins but didn’t think to freeze a banana nor her milk so I’ll try that next. Thank you so much 😊

My DD used to make a growl noise when teething also if you tried to take a toy away

@mumma90 thank you. I can’t wait for the questions she also growls when we take things away like you say so I won’t stress as pp said she can make the noise so will carry on now 🤣

We called DD little gremlin as she would make growling and other throaty noises, so funny as she crawled around

She’s more honking like a goose now 🤣 I knew it was ok I just wanted to double check she’s my first so I doubt myself 🙄
