Prolonged jaundice phototherapy

Hi,

My little boy is 3 weeks and one day old and has been referred for a prolonged jaundice screening at the hospital. He is still slightly yellow is colour and sleeps quite a lot (although this could be normal for him?) but no other symptoms. Does anyone have experience of this? What was the outcome? His levels have been checked twice before and were rising but not near the treatment line, is it possible he might need phototherapy at this stage?

Thanks for anyone who reads my post x

My baby had jaundice for quite a while, are you BFing OP?

I was advised to take him out as much as possible too. I know that the sun is very weak at the moment but every bit should help.

If he's very sleepy, are you managing to get his feeds into him?
