Need some advice as HV has been absolutely useless..I no longer contact her as shes only ever seen us once! And for less than half an hour.
3rd baby and I feel like irs the first!! I cant be exaggerating but I cannot remember first two being like this....shes so difficult 😔
Basically from 6 weeks, she has been quite an irritable baby. Has improved but from turning 2 months noticed/dealing with a few things
- she hardly finishes her feeds. Has been formula fed since 6 weeks. So I thought her being 2 months she would be taking 4-5oz...shes only taking 2 or 3
We are constantly making up milks as she seems to feed little and often. She doesnt seem to like cold milk so we usually make a fresh batch if first has gone cold.
she is now 11 and a half weeks btw so almsost 3 months
- she will scream for awhile and refuse milk. She seems to just cry for no reason which I find odd as if its colic doesnt that usually go away by now and this has only happened in the last 3 weeks id say. She does finally settle face down mostly on partners chest...she hardly settles with me..i spend alot of time tending to 3 year old so maybe shes got used to partner?
*i dread this as he will soon be working away so its going to be and the kids all alone
*
- doesnt seem to like going out? When my toddler was a baby, I was ALWAYS out and I.mean ALWAYS. Had a really good routine, we went somehwere different every day. Little walks, play areas..I also bf longer with her so have no idea how I did it. However this baby..i cant last longer than an hour outside with her.
She seems to wake up maybe from cold air then will just cry. Cry and scream to be held. But its undoable with toddler in tow or when im doing a big shop. H
Just horrible ..i hardly go out with her now as Im so put off. Maybe cos this time I have a toddler sonits more difficult to go out with two youngens.
Just feel like shes really unsettled and hard tonread her signals..with my 2 other dd I would just know if they were hungry , bored etc. With her its rly hard. She just moans then screams....really odd.
Any advice or can anyone relate? Thanks in advance
