Lately... well pretty much for the last 6 months, my 2 yo daughter still doesn't speak but she has her own way of telling me what she wants but, she does gets upset a lot of the time and i dont know why, im doing something that she want me to do but, ots so difficult because she cannot speak to me yet... does anyone know how i can mame this easier or help me to try understand my daughter needs.

have been told that she doesn't have the understanding of a 2 yo, so past year while we been in lockdown, been doing lots of things m, she knows her number from 1-10 and can count backwards almost knows 11-20 and pretty much 20 out of 26 of the alphabetss but not very good with instructions.
i was the same when i was her age, but i can not ask my mother for advice as she stuffers with mental health issues and doesn't really remember anything of my past.

so im ask for all the help i can get to help my daughter

ICan have some useful progress checkers. There's one for 2 years and one for 2.5 years. I'd do the progress checker and follow the advice it gives you. If you are in the U.K. and she's not talking, you can self refer her for a hearing test and for some Speech & Language Therapy.

It might also be worth doing the mchat test, which you can do before she's 30 months.

If you want to understand her better, that have you tried doing some simple signs with her like Makaton? You could start off with Mum, Dad, Milk, more and teddy, if she has a favourite teddy.
