Our daughter will count but it’s often “ two, three, two” any tips to encourage her to start with one ?

Counting is really more of an older skill. It's only expected to be 'emerging' at age 2. My now 33MO started by shouting '2,6,8' before doing something rather than '1,2,3' ... they're weird like that Grin and was never really interested in rote learning counting to 10 but skipped right to axtually being able to count objects. She can now count small numbers of objects when she's in the mood. I would just keep counting anything and everything in sight. She'll 'get it' eventually and it doesn't sound like she's behind by any means right now
