my dd is 14mo and doesnt do watching tv; I am hoping that one day soon i might be able to put her in front of a whole 5 min episode of peppa pig or something so i can go to the loo or peg oput the washing without her having to be there? am i being yunrealistic to expect her to watch?
she will sit on my knee for about 2 mins and watch but then wanders off to play. my neice, who is a couple of months younger, will sit in front of baby einstein and point and coo!
at what age did your los concentrate on the tv?

My dd is 16mths and her concentration on tv varies from just a few seconds to the whole of 'in the night garden' (although we have that on as part of her wind down bedtime rountine as they all go to sleep at the end of it then so does dd!)

she isnt interested at all in 'cartoons' as such but the things that do get her attention on cbeebies are the things with real people or dressed up people (eg. tweenies)

I dont have tv on that much and I wouldnt worry I'm sure she will get to the stage where you cant get her away from it and you will be wishing she still wasnt interested!!
