hi,
my dd who is almost four insists she has a job, infact she has quite a few, she works on a farm along the road, she works in a cafe and she also works in the city, i only work part time (two days per week) so its not like im work obserssed or anything, i just dont know where it all comes from. everything i point out or mention i get "yes, i have that my work" or she will wave to a stranger and say "he/she is from my work" i dont like to discourage her from it as she is only using her imagination, i will sometimes make a joke of it and tell her to stop blethering but at what point do i draw the line.
i suppose i just to know that it is normal for her stage of development

ha ha, mine (dd aged 4) is the same.
'Oh i know an olly at my work' and she has a pink house which has everything in it and imaginary friends who have done everything we have done. IN fact imaginary friends are her 2 sons and their dad (I am grandma)!!!
YOu are not alone - sign of a creative mind I think

olsmum · 25/10/2007 22:58
