Speech in 14mo?

My daughter turns 14mo this month, and although I'm not concerned about her speech, due to lockdown, I've not been around other babies her age so I've no idea what her speech should be like at this age. She can say things like dada, mama, dog, nana, night night but the rest are just mumbles. Does this sound about right? She loves books and we read constantly, I say short, easy words to her often, ones that are in our routine like drink, shower, din din, book etc but she's not picking much up.

Otherwise her development seems on track, though she's not been since by the health visitor since Feb 2020 so I'm just judging blindly really!

Very happy, healthy girl though, just curious to what others experience of speech at this age is!

All sounds pretty normal to me. The ICan website has sone progress checkers for speech and language. I'd only do them at the right age though. If you do them early you'll only end up worried about nothing Smile
