DD was a picky, snacky feeder from birth, rarely finished a bottle, and fed little and often. When i started weaning her, she ate miniscule amounts. When she got poorly, or was teething, she ate and drank even less. One memorable occasion, when she was one, she did not eat any solid food for 10 days.

we seem to have had a breakthrough

She is 2.3, and for the very first time, she said to me, on Sunday, ' I hungry' and asked for toast !

she had cereal , toast and milk for breakfast, ate lunch and some dinner.

same on monday, and we went to my mums , where she ate pasta, fish goujons, melon, bread and butter, cheese and salad.

not quite sure what has happened, but she seems to actually want to eat , and last night, i made her pasta, and she ate it all, and asked for more !

am very pleased

baby lulu - you go girl!

she is sooo not like her cousin

thanks ruby

maybe she was inspired by her cousin.. demolishing a banana in 3 bites...

i am not that neurotic, but was wondering if she was ever going to actually enjoy and want to eat... it was more like she ate because she had to , and to get energy, but she suddenly seems to be enjoying her food !
