Babbling

Can I just ask experiences of baby babbling development as I'm ftm and just don't know what's normal / don't see other babies much atm to know !
My little one goes through phases of being quiet for a few days then he might babble more again
The quiet times just seem to worry me abit because when I have seen other babies they seem to do lots of mama and dada and he doesn't do this
He's 11 months
He has made sounds like 'mam' 'mama' 'dadadayayaya' but he doesn't do it every day / consistently and some days he's really quiet ! He will copy me sometimes say 'ta' like sound
He understands everything I say, he can hear a pin drop and is poss quite focused on trying to walk atm. He's extremely sociable and waves claps etc etc all other development is absolutely great it's just his general quietness getting to me abit

It could just be that you gave a quiet baby Smile

There's a Progress Checker for 12 months. Don't do it until then though as a lot can happen with speech in a month.
