Sleep regression

My 9 month old has started waking up at 4/430 every morning.
Guessing it's a sleep regression as she has recently started crawling and trying to pull up etc.

Does this go away on its own? 😩. If so, how long was your baby waking up early for?

With my first we did controlled crying. She was a very easy baby though and very rarely cried and she took it really well without much fuss. My youngest is an absolute psycho and she would go mental, so I don't want to do controlled crying with her. Is there anything else I can try before I jump out of the window?

What is the sleep/nap/awake routine like during the day?

Regressions do tend to go on their own (to be replaced by teething and then another regression and so on...).

At 9mo the "theory" is they should be awake about 3 hours, then nap, awake 3 hours, second nap (both daytime naps to be about 1,5 hours long so the baby gets 3 hours of daytime sleep) then night time sleep about 11-12 hours (can be 10 if the baby sleeps 3+ hours during daytime or if you are blessed enough with a sleepy baby...).
