Toddler slipped in the bath.....help!

Whilst at my mums house, my LB cried when we put him in her big bath and when he stood he slipped over and fell into the bath. Since then when we try and bath him he totally freaks out and screams.
We have tried having his bath around to just play with, no water in it and he seemed ok, he when it was empty he wasn't sure

Any advice on how to get him happy in the bath again as he used to LOVE bath time =(

Could you try showers? Or a big plastic tub or padding pool with toys to make it fun until he gets use to it again. Is your bath big enough for you to take a bath with him to make him feel safe?

If he's small enough could you bath him in the kitchen skink with some toys? The novelty might just work or try showers as the PP suggests. Getting in the bath with LO or just giving them a wash for a few nights might work too.

Thanks for your advice, unfortunately we only have the toddler schnuggle bath, we have done lots of play with it with no water, then today put a bit of water and some toys, he still seems unsure about getting completely in but will now splash and play with water in it . I might try and shower with him and continue with lots of play and hope he realises its safe.

have you got a bath mat, they do get grotty but would give a bit of grip for his bum, also bath crayons , bubbles, and toys to take his mind off slipping

I'd get in with him for a while, have baths together to make him feel safe
