stop biting!!!

what do i do about my 10 month old biting he does it all the time. sometimes you will get a little hug then he goes in for the kill other times he will just bite without warning. he does it to anyone..

most, if not all babies/toddlers do this
often gets worse when they are teething
DS went through a bit of a phase when three of his molars came through at once

We were talking about this on here last week. Everyone agreed that saying "no biting" and removing the child from the lap / arms and putting down for a few minutes really got the message across.

For what its worth, my 13 mth old dived for my knee last night with his mouth open, ready to bite (usually he sneaks up and it bloody hurts) and he ended up clouting himself in the mouth and crying. I hadn't moved or said anything. Think this was a valuable lessson as saw him considering doing the same today but thinking better of it.
