CMPA at 4 months

Dd2 is almost 4 months old and I’m worried she is showing signs of cows milk allergy. We have been upping her formula and breastfeeding less (following a lot of issues).

Anyway I’m concerned she is very snuffly, has reflux and had some diarrhoea over the last couple of days also. We saw the doctor today who didn’t seem overly worried, checked stuff like her ears and said there’s no infection.

We managed to settle her this evening but when we gave her a bottle an hour ago it all flared up again - bad sniffles to the point I’m worried about her overnight.

I just wondered what others experiences of CMPA have been? Does this sound like it? Could I just switch her to dairy free formula or should this be after a proper diagnosis?

From the symptoms you've said, it does sound as if it could be CMPA.

I found this leaflet from Allergy UK very useful and this article from Kellymom explains CMPA very well.
