2 year review over video call, experiences?

Hi,

Sorry for any posting errors, this is my first time posting on mumsnet.

This morning I received a text saying that my 2 year old daughter has been booked in for her 2 year review, but it will be over video call.

I’m slightly worried about this because she generally doesn’t really care for video calls. If they would want her to engage via video call and she loses interest, would that be interpreted as her just not knowing what they’re asking of her?

If you’ve gone through a review via video call, I would love to hear your experiences and what we could expect.

Thank you in advance! :)

Tbh mine was done over the phone and my LO was asleep. I would bet they're not expecting too much interaction from the child

Mine was done over video call he played in background while she asked me questions, I think they interacted twice but not purposefully.

The two year review is normally just a talk with the parent.... its unlikely they would observe the child at all.
