Hi everyone

I am probably just an overly anxious new mum, but my LG jerks and moves all the time. When having a nappy change will straighten her legs out straight, when just sitting or lying hands are moving- kind of shaking, it stops when she’s given something. She also on her bath seat kicks, jolts her legs as if she is having some kind of spasm (not sure if the right word) and then settles, again doesn’t do it if holding something.

Am I just expecting too much for her to be more in control, does it sound like excitement or her body just developing? Does any body else’s baby move in a similar way? Thank you

They all do it! What's more they bang their legs down in their cot or pram so hard sometimes they shake the foundations.

It's quite normal.

Totally normal and some babies are jerkier than others! My oldest son was mega jerky all the time when he was a baby!My younger son wasn't so much at first but around 3-4 months old got jerkier and now he makes very jerky weird movements! Don't worry x
