Call from School

DS is 5 and in Yr1. I've just had a call from School saying he's putting his hands down his pants then laying down on the floor and rubbing himself on the floor.

I have noticed him doing this at home but I've always assumed it's because he needs the toilet and told him to go.

Obviously I need to speak to him and tell him he needs to stop doing it but how do I approach it.

Don't have sons, only daughters.

Ask why he is doing it.

If doing that because it feels nice then say no one else wants to see you doing it, so you need to save it for alone times, at home, in your bedroom, never at school or in public. (?)

Thank you.

I've had a relaxed chat with him telling him he can't touch his willy at school. He was a bit worried but I've assured him he's not in trouble. Fingers crossed that will be the last we hear of it.
