My baby had Protruding ears

Hi my baby is very beautiful but she has large protruding ears, I'm worried that with time it won't get corrected. Is there something I can do to make her ear not stick out like that. She is 4 months old and is very beautiful. I just feel like if I have a natural option of fixing it..it would be easier to do now.

Aww my little boy has ears that stick out a bit too. I keep noticing and wondering if there going to be the case when he's older. He's also 4mo. I can't imagine there's any natural way of changing it though!

I believe if you tape the ears when they're very young it corrects it permanently. I would ask your gp.

My dd has huge ears that stick out at 90 degrees and we call her baby Yoda. She's super cute and has beautiful eyes.
We asked about taping etc but that apparently works only when you do it very early on. There's not much you can do apart from surgical fixation at around 5 years.
There are studies that show that people find babies and kids with protruding ears cuter than those with normal ears ;-)

Very early on meaning in the first few days of life

Felinewoman I totally agree about the cuteness factor... Just don't want it to affect him when he's older, eg in High School. Kids can be cruel. Sounds like there's nothing non-invasive that can be done anyway... Will just grow his hair 🙂

Sounds like a plan. We will see how our little one develops and she might get her ears pinned when she's old enough. I agree about bullying.
Some people say that they should make the decision about corrective surgery themselves....but can a 5 year old really do that? We will ask her but not sure she has the capacity then...we shall see ...

Boys with long hair a cool btw. I remember my first boyfriend had long dreadlocks and he was one of the cool guys at school, and my second one had long hair as well (there is a trend) and played in a rock band Grin

My 2 year old has long hair (no protruding ears) and I love it. 💕
