4 week old routine

Hi everyone,

I am interested to know how everyone structures their day with a newborn. I have a 4 week old baby and I am finding it really difficult to get anything done and even to organise the things he needs for the day. I don't even know how people have time to get dressed etc! I understand this is typical when you have a newborn, but I would just like to hear how other people manage.

Do you have a morning/ bedtime routine etc? What timings do you use?

Thanks!

Mine are long since past this stage but at 4 weeks I would either get up before DH left to have a shower or put baby in a pounce chair in the bathroom whilst I had one.

I also found the sling was very good as neither of mine really liked being put down. It meant that I had free hands fir making things like a sandwich or putting a loaf of washing on Smile

Thank you :) I did want to try a sling actually!

*Bouncy Chair

Please don't put your child in a Pounce Chair, it sounds a bit dangerous Grin
