4 year old getting into trouble in Creche

Hello,

When I collected my 4 year old today the teacher said that he had been quite disobedient, not following requests etc. To be honest he is often like this at home, but an angel in Creche.

The more worrying thing she said was he said to a little girl at the tea table that he would "rip her head off". This is never the kind of phrase DH or I would use (and definitely not in front of him).

The teacher said she is only telling me because it is so uncharacteristic. Nothing unusual happened at the weekend, in fact we had a lovely weekend.

My SIL is a teacher, suggested he himself might be getting bullied, he is a very sensitive child or maybe he is bored. She said she wouldn't be too concerned about this feedback once.

Is he around anyone who might use a phrase like that? Has he maybe seen something online or on TV?

He's probably heard the phrase in the crèche. They usually come out with all weird and wonderful phrases once they start spending their days with other children.

Definitely not online.

I thought it might have come from the Creche myself.

My little boy is 4 (almost 5, he's in reception) and he's come out with phrases he's definitely picked up at school. He's probably learned it at crèche.
