Major nursery embarrassment!!

Well DS(3.8) is potty trained but he has the odd days where his bladder just wont listen. Poo is completely fine, I mean he ALWAYS go poo in potty since Match so i am not worried.

Today, I went to pick him up and the key worker told me hes been fine etc etc but today morning he went to wee as soon as he came in and there was dried poo in his pants (sorry TMI) i mean not nuggets just smear and some on his bum but very dry!
I am baffled as it literally takes us 7min drive to nursery. His routine is wake up go potty do his business brush change to day clothes and walk out to car, reach nursery thats it. Between change into new pants and nursery thats like 10 min and I have no idea why he didnt say or if he didnt feel it.usually hes very aware of poo and runs to potty.
Today morning he didnt poo and i still wiped him just to check if hes clean.

Well this has been bit BlushBlushcoz i look like i didnt bother.

I am not really looking for a solution as i know its a one off but ive been sooo Blush that I needed to vent 😂 sorry for babbling!

I'm not sure what the embarrassing bit is

peanutandpumkin · 11/11/2020 16:41

Well I feel maybe they are judging me for not checking. In the sense like I ignored DS needs.

Sorry the embarrassment is about me not DS as I dont think he really understood or remember. Its natural for him to have accidents but not natural for me to leave him in dirty pants! This is the part im embarrassed about if you see what i mean?

Try not to worry, I imagine they have to tell you to evidence they have raised it. Things happen.

Yea i guess it happens... it was the initial mortified feeling lol

Thanks
