When did your difficult toddler become easier

My daughter is 4 & I’m waiting.

She’s incredibly strong willed and sometimes when she stays out, the house feels so calm and happy.

I love her of course but she’s so bossy, demanding, complains about everything. She’s always been this way even as a baby but I thought it would be better by now.

She’s very well behaved in general so I can trust her to go to nursery and behave, go shopping, go to the cinema or out and about and in general she does behave.

But at home she moans about absolutely everything. The way her food is cut up, the shoes she wears, her clothes, the food I offer her. The food she asks for then changes her mind.

It’s so draining.

I have a 9 year old and he’s so chilled and even he comments on how nice it is when she’s away. He said when she was away for the day “it’s so nice, no one screaming and shouting everyday”.
