My little 8 month old boy loves sucking his thumb and that's what he uses to get himself to sleep for naps and at bed time. He has always had annoyingly short naps so I'm normally glued to the monitor waiting for him to wake up. Throughout his naps I can hear him sucking his thumb. Can he actually be asleep when he is doing this? He is otherwise very still and quiet so I assume asleep?
