Child rocking

Hi.

Wondered if any of you have experienced this.
My eldest DS has just turned 3 and he rocks all the time. There's no particular pattern to it he does it thought the day. Nursery are referring him but waiting list is a while.
His development is fine. I had a phone call with the HV and she wasn't overally concerned about the rest of his behaviour. Although he doesn't like loud noises so he is being referred for a hearing test too.

So I just wondered if anyone has had a child that rocks and they've grown out of it or it turned out to be something?

Thank you

Where is nursery referring him to? I wasn't aware nurseries were able to refer, but they are able to bring in experts (like educational psychologist) in order to observe him - are they concerned about anything else? rocking can be quite common at this age, if that is the only things then I wouldn't think it's concerning.

Thanks for your reply. Yes you may be right. They are bringing someone in to observe him further.
