13 month old tantrums - ADHD?

Lovely DD is very active, loves running around and climbing, constantly babbling in her own language, doesn't really have much interest in toys. For the past couple of months if I interrupt something she wants to do she'll launch herself backwards onto the floor but generally forgets about it very quickly. I'm a first time mum. Is this normal at this age? Her dad has ADHD and she seems to have some characteristics. I'm not concerned, just curious.

Totally normal.

Feel very naive now!

Yeh I'd say very typical of a 13MO. My 2YO is a bag of energy and I would say the best way to deal with it is to give her chance to burn that energy every day. It's impossible to dx ADHD at this age or even twice this age. The best things you can do is as much activities which incorporate joint attention as possible (books, jigsaws, games, joint active play. Anything that works really) Just enjoy her though. She sounds fine x
