My dd1 is in Primary 3 (year 2).

At school she is not bother, nor on the school bus (accordin to teacher/escort).

BUT - she is coming home from school saying her 'freinds' wont play with her. She never mentions this till bedtime, whcih makes me think she is lookng for further attention from DH (who works til 7).

We have had a few mornings of tears, bu tmostly she is fine,

I have a feeling this is just 7yo girls, and it will all pass. AM I being totally nutty ignoring it (only comes out at bedtime when dh is home - if he's not home she goes to bed no bother!)

Perhaps you should not ignore the signals that she would like some time with her dad. Could you arrange some time at the weekend?

I think fears only expressed late at night when they are tired are mostly imagined. Does she have play dates with her friends? She is obviously worried about not being popular whether it is true or not.
