We left DS to find his own way but at almost 8 I’m wondering if this will rectify or whether we should get some help.
He pronounces L as W, he can make an L sound just doesn’t do it naturally. His speech has always been very good as has his reading, his reading age is around 11, not a brag just noting his understanding of language is generally very good.
We go from doing nothing to mentioning it but haven’t sought professional help and wonder whether we should. His teachers have never ever mentioned it as an issue but wonder if I should raise it with them?
