Teething?!?!

FTM to 6.5 week old baby girl, & noticed this morning she's got something on her lower gum that to me looks like a tooth?! 🤷🏻‍♀️🤯

She has a little bit of colic so is quite winey and unsettled, she has started crying a lot more but I've read babies hit there crying peak around the 6 week mark, she has also suddenly started dribbling a lot and at times can be quite hot to touch and has a slight temp. So she has some typical teething symptoms they could also be explained for other reasons.

I know babies don't usually teeth until around 6 months but have been known to teeth a little earlier. So I was quite shocked when I saw it this morning.

Opinions please fellow mumsnetters on if it's a tooth or what it else it may be? ♥️
Thankyou

It looks very central, it may be the skin between the two teeth rising but the teeth themselves may take a while to come through yet.

Either way it doesn't look sinister, so I would just wait and use some bonjela if she is in discomfort.
