my dd (3) does this really weird thing of a night, it actually started a few months ago and then settled down but she is starting to do it again. Basically she goes to bed perfectly fine but then wakes up screaming and i mean screaming u would think someone was trying to murder her, (she is fully awake when she does this so it isnt night terrors) she then starts to demand things like sweets (which i never give in to)or she will do things like wanting me to blow her nose over and over again, demand her teddy is put on the floor then when u put it there she wants it back on the bed, basically manipulation. we have tried walking out the room but she goes mad screaming kicking things, last night she threw a cup over the bannister and threw her tele on the floor, these episodes last for mininum an hour but carry on for up to 3 hours, nothing calms her down and it is very very draining, iw as actually scared last night that the neighbours would call the police it was that bad. Please has anyone got any suggestions? or has anyone been through this before?

DS did this until we bought a gate to go at his door took all the toys out of his room and when he went crazy put the gate up - now we just have to mention the gate and he shuts up!

Are you absolutely sure she is awake when she does this? Does she remember it in the morning?
