When DD was 19 weeks I noticed that one of her canines was coming through. It was sticking out and when rubbing her gums I could feel it. Now at 22 weeks it has vanished. Whats that all about?

My nephew had this exact same thing. It stayed disappeared and then he got his teeth in the usual pattern starting about 24 weeks, so the bottom middle incisors first etc. That same canine has just reappeared for good now at 17 months. Very weird!

We had what appeared to be a back tooth come through on each side at about 1 month. Showed it to the doctor - she said it was a harmless dental cyst (I think that was the term) and is very common in babies.
