should I be worried that dd's foot seems to turn in when she walks?

Dd is 14 months old, and has just got the hang of walking. However, I have noticed that she turns her right foot in as she walks, less when she is wearing shoes, but noticeably and with scrunched up toes when she is barefoot. I can't see what her toes are doing with her shoes on, but I did take her to get her feet measured again when I noticed her toes on that foot looked scrunched when I took her shoes off. Is this normal as she has only been walking for a short time, or should I get it checked out before it becomes a more established problem?

Very ealry days . dd's still intoes at 6 , ahd her checed at 4 1/2 and unless there is a physical cause (ie probelm with foot ro ankle) it shouldl self correct. Well fitted shoes/ankle boots as opposed to trainers or wellies make a big difference. Mention the toes curling to your hv , might just be her way of balancing atm .

My ds (now 5) has something similar. He got the hang of walking at the same age. One foot seems to go straight ahead and the other seems to go out. After hassling my GP several times he eventually referred us to a specialist who checked DS over (nearly 3 at the time) and said that the foot should be going out - it's the one that goes straight ahead that's not quite right. However, he believes it is well within normal range and nothing to worry about. I can, however, go back to him if it gets any worse. It remains the same and continues to annoy me .... although DS doesn't seem to notice. I just hope it doesn't affect his future sprinting career.

Thanks for the advice. I took dd to our hv, who says it's nothing to worry about at the moment, although if she continues to do it past 2 it might be.
